Pay once. Own forever.

Splitleaf runs on your Mac or Windows PC, so our cost does not grow with what you build. That is why you can buy it once. You pay for collaboration, because that part runs on our servers. You do not rent access to your own editor.

Ownership, not open-ended seat rent

One license per person

One person, one license, one time. All functionalities available. Simple as that

No monthly fee

No subscription. No seat tax. No hidden charges.

No per-site tax

One license works for unlimited sites and projects.

Fair collaboration pricing

To collaborate on in a workspace or site we charge $6 per person a month.

Are you renting the ground where you build your websites?

Stop leasing rights to your own work

When the tool you use to design and manage a website is a subscription, stopping payment means losing access. Content, habits, and client access all sit behind the next invoice. One person with five CMS sites pays $7,500 over five years on Webflow, at its published yearly prices. In Splitleaf that is $129 once, plus your own hosting.

Ownership used to be normal

You paid once. The software ran on your machine. You decided when to update. Splitleaf brings that model back for website management.

Collaboration costs. Ownership is not.

Syncing site data, showing who's working on what and providing team functionality cost server time. That is worth a fair fee. Access to files you already own is not.

Owning software stops growth tax

Buy once per person

Each person who uses the desktop app needs a license. The license belongs to the person, not to a site plan.

Grow freely

Building more sites does not unlock a new product tier. Workspaces group people and bills, not features behind Starter, Growth, or Enterprise packs.

Pay for teammates when you need them

Your workspace includes room for a small collaboration pair. Extra collaborators are metered. Solo operators and lean client setups stay cheap to run.

Leave without losing what you paid for

Your sites stay as files and a repo. The license is yours. Leaving a workspace does not erase your right to the tool.

Common questions

Is anything billed monthly?
The app license is one-time payment. If you want to collaborate with others on a site or in a workspace team this costs $6 per collaborator. You choose how to host your website, and will pay a monthly fee to that provider.
What if my team grows?
Add more users to your team, they will get an invite to Splitleaf and your workspace. You can also pay for their app license if they don't have one.
Can I use the same license across clients?
Yes. The license is personal. Sites belong to workspaces, so client work can move without moving your ownership of the tool.
Are you a cheaper Webflow?
No. Webflow and Framer are hosted builders that run in a browser tab. Splitleaf is a different category: the CMS runs on your device and the site is files you hold. The lower price is a result of that, not the point of it. If you want one vendor to host and run everything in the browser, they are a good choice.
What happens after the 12 months of updates?
The app you bought keeps working and keeps publishing. The license includes 12 months of updates. A future major version is an optional paid upgrade.
